Our elementary school held it's second annual daddy daughter dance last weekend. Miss S was so excited! She counted down the days until she could have a fun date with dad. The theme for the dance this year was the Oscars and it was all decked out. They had 8 foot tall Oscars and a red carpet lined with stars. They danced the night away & even won the award for "Most Enthusiastic" dancing! She is already upset that she wont be able to attend next year. I told her I could keep her back in 5th grade, but she didn't go for it. Darn.

She looks ADORABLE! That sounds like such a fun night, I am sure she will always remember spending that evening together with her Dad.
what a fun daddy/daughter date. i too, wish they would stay 5th graders for a little bit longer *sigh*.
