Basketball

Mr. T just finished his last basketball game of the season. He loves to play basketball and he especially loves that his dad is coach! This was his first year playing in the competitive league and he did great. We love to watch him. Now on to baseball!!

Three day weekends

We have been lucky and have had 2 three day weekends in a row! Not only that, but the weather has been so beautiful! We just wanted to spend time outside. Since we don't have our backyard done yet, we took a trip over to grandma & grandpa's house for some fun activities. The kids love going there and riding their ripsticks, scooters and playing basketball and tennis. Here they are showing off their tennis skills...

Then I made them pose for me. The sun made for awesome lighting.

Hey buddy, look up...I want to take one more picture...guess not.

Happy Valentines Day!

I saw this idea last year & just had to do it. I love how they turned out! I just took a picture, used photoshop to add the words and then cut a slit in the hand and added a lollipop. Super easy and so cute!

Happy Valentines!

Hallway collage

About 5 years ago I made a collage in our front entryway of the kids faces. I just change out the pictures every year as they grow. I love it. And Pete LOVES hanging it for me in both houses! This is the current version (& I really don't have yellow walls)...

And this is the new one that will go up this week!

A night at the Oscars

Our elementary school held it's second annual daddy daughter dance last weekend. Miss S was so excited! She counted down the days until she could have a fun date with dad. The theme for the dance this year was the Oscars and it was all decked out. They had 8 foot tall Oscars and a red carpet lined with stars. They danced the night away & even won the award for "Most Enthusiastic" dancing! She is already upset that she wont be able to attend next year. I told her I could keep her back in 5th grade, but she didn't go for it. Darn.
